How long has it been since the dawn of the darkest chapter of #internet history? Because I feel by the time of this post, we’re all living in it right now.

I thought 2012 was bad, but that’s because it was a time when everyone realized that something wasn’t right, and a few people realized that social media isn’t as good as they thought.

I thought 2016 was worse, with the worst of Reddit, Twitter and 4Chan rearing its ugly head after several years lying in wait just in time of the US election.

Now I feel 2020 had amplified the various issues of the internet, and we’ve all come to realize that the reason why things are getting worse is because the very few people in control (such as #donaldtrump and #ElonMusk ) are benefitting from this!

This #enshittification is a major contributor to this darkest era of the Internet! It’s killing off long-established cultures in favour of the constant grind, and it has created societies where everyone hates everyone! #aaaaaaaaaaaaa !
