Teuira Napa crowns Miss Pacific Islands 2014 Latafale Auva’a in Apia

Teuira Raechel Shanti Napa represented the Cook Islands at Miss South Pacific 2013 and competed against nine other candidates at the Pacific Casino Hotel in Honiara, Solomon Islands on December 7, 2013. She won the title.

On December 20, 2014, Napa crowned Miss Pacific Islands 2014 Alofa Dawn Latafale Auva’a of Samoa at the Tuana’imato Sports Complex in Apia, Samoa. Eight candidates competed for the title.

Juliette Caroline Spencer of American Samoa won the inaugural edition of Miss South Pacific, which was founded by the government of Samoa in 1987. The beauty pageant was renamed Miss Pacific Islands in 2014, making Napa the last Miss South Pacific and Auva’a the first ever Miss Pacific Islands.

Fonoifafo Nancy McFarland-Seumanu of Samoa won Miss Pacific Islands 2019 at The Stanley Hotel and Suites in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea on November 30, 2019. She held the title from 2020 to 2022 amid the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

On February 3, 2023, McFarland-Seumanu crowned her successor Josie Nicholas of Papua New Guinea at Gym 1 in Tuanaimato, Apia, Samoa. Five candidates competed for the title.
