APAS 汽車科技研究發展中心 推電動車充電轉換設備供「港車北上」使用
香港運輸署近日公佈每日處理「港車北上」申請量增至 500 宗，突顯兩地車輛跨境需求急速增長。生產力局旗下的汽車科技研究發展中心（APAS）宣佈加強與內地不同機構合作，專注於優化電動車充電轉換設備，並計劃制定相關安全指引，將會為市場供應安全可靠的轉換設備，確保跨境車輛的使用安全。▲ APAS 行政總裁都永海先生表示近年在大灣區陸路交通基建顯著改善，「港車北上」更加便捷。隨著電動車數量不斷增加，車主應先了解內地及香港在交通規則及充電介面標準的區別。APAS 為此研發專門的充電轉換頭，確保車主能順暢使用充電設施。期待透過此活動推動創新科技與可持續發展，共同為建設香港智慧城市作出貢獻。APAS 曾多次指出，市場上未經認證的充電轉換設備存在嚴重安全問題，例如電壓過高、電流不足或過載等情況，可能導致車輛損壞或火災事故。近期內地一些事件已證實了這類風險的嚴重性。因此，APAS 正加緊與內地技術機構合作，進一步完善技術標準，為行業提供更多支援。▲APAS 綠色運輸主管徐偉瑜先生向傳媒講解及示範轉換裝置世運汽車集團主席羅少雄院士, MH 指出：「隨著電動車在市面上的增加，電動車充電頭的款式越來越多樣，充電轉換設備的選擇也愈加豐富。我們非常高興能有APAS作為行業的先驅，專注於研發電動車充電轉換設備。我期待未來能看到APAS更多的研究成果，為推動行業的發展和提升消費者的使用體驗作出更大貢獻。」另外，香港保險中介行業協會會長關億信先生亦分享現時內地汽車保險制度與香港存在顯著差異，香港的汽車保險通常以第三者責任保險為主，而內地的保險制度較為統一，產品多以綜合型為主，建議消費者根據自身需求購買。他表示：「隨著電動車和自動駕駛技術的普及，保險行業也必須適應新的改變。我們將與相關機構密切合作，為電動車主提供合適及全面的保險保障，促進市場的健康發展。與此同時，我希望港人在「港車北上」前應做好功課準備，了解兩地的保險差異，確保在保障他人的同時，也能有效保障自己。」▲世運汽車集團主席羅少雄院士（圖左）及香港保險中介行業協會會長關億信先生（圖右）分享港車北上的注意事項及保險制度。電動車逐漸普及，「港車北上」的主要挑戰之一在於充電標準的差異。香港主要採用歐洲充電標準，而內地則使用國標系統，兩者在插頭設計及協定上不兼容。這導致港車駛入內地後，難以找到合適的充電設施。此外，市場上缺乏標準化的轉換設備，即使存在轉換器，也可能因設備不匹配或性能問題導致安全隱患。APAS 正在測試的充電轉換裝置，分別提供歐/日制式轉換成國標，並可以支援最高 150kW 功率，能滿足現時內地主流的 DC 直流快充設施。汽車科技研發中心（APAS）於 2006 年由香港特區政府創新科技署成立，並由香港生產力促進局(生產力局)承辦。 多年來一直與業界、大學和技術機構合作研發技術，並把研發成果轉化為商品，從而促進汽車科技發展。 研發中心自成立以來，已執行超過100 項目。來源: 新聞稿

This #docking system was originally designed for the Apollo-Soyuz Test project in which an American Apollo and Soviet Soyuz spacecraft met in orbit and docked.
The #APAS, Androgynous Peripheral Attach System, can dock to any other APAS system, unlike a probe-and-drogue system.
The Soviets continued developing the system for their Mir station and Buran shuttle.
However, instead of a Soviet shuttle docking to Mir, it was the American Space Shuttle.
In a post-Cold War show of friendship, the #SpaceShuttle was modified with a docking collar meant for another vehicle and used it to visit Mir and deliver supplies and help change crews.

Existing docking systems were “probe and drogue” type, and relied on an “active” component to enter a “passive” side of the docking system.
APAS was preferable to forcing one partner to not have an active role in the docking, as well as solved the engineering challenge on how to fit a new docking port on the Soyuz.
The US had to develop an adapter.
The USSR continued developing a new version of APAS to use with their shuttle, Buran.
The Kristall Mir module had 2 APAS docking ports that Buran would have used, but Buran’s APAS system was converted for use on the American Shuttle so it could dock.
