The Disappeared, Then and Now

It should not be underestimated what the impact of the behaviour of #Israel and the #UnitedStates have, on internal and external policies. #Europe it's silence and failure of preventing and even active contribution to the #genocide in #Gaza, the ongoing #EthnicCleancing of the #WestBank, the deployment of the military on the streets in #US-cities itself, under the even explicitly named reason of them being under rule of the main opposition party (coming down to blatant dictatorial behaviour), the dehumanisation of migrants through #aligatoralcatraz (even the name itself is already sick), should all be warnings that you cannot just continue with "business as usual" in your relationship to those two countries. Yes we are already faced with a reactionary coup in many places of the world and a slow process of it in Europe, it however will not be stemmed by an unhindered continuation of dealing with them, but by the creation of a different outlook, the setting and guarding of basic humanist boundaries.

And this is not even radical arguementation, this is all within a liberal bourgeois democratic framework. It just shows how heavily failing the governments socalled "Western World" are.

The political and military developments will radiate its effects on us if they are not stemmed.
