@MichlFranken Mit einem deutlich schlechterem #PiHole6 Userinterface und vor allem hat's massiv mein #Samba-#ADDC derart gestört, das sich kein #Windows-Client mehr anmelden konnte.
Und ich war schon kurz davor, das alles mitten in der Nacht neu aufzusetzen.

Problem: nslookup _ldap....<domain> lieferte NXDomain

Ursache: #PiHole dupliziert seit neuestem die <domain> (_ldap...<domain>.<domain> (Zufällig nach langem rumprobieren im Log gesehen)

War dann(!) schnell gelöst, bis dahin *haare rauf*

Ich lese gerade https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Back_up_and_Restoring_a_Samba_AD_DC Meine nach wie vor offene Frage:
Die Kiste, auf der der ADDC läuft, fängt das Qualmen an. Möchte ich dann ein Online oder ein Offline Backup haben?
Online ist für "longterm replacement". Also nicht ganz verkehrt.
Offline hat noch zusätzliche Metadaten, aber ist (auch) für "forensic purposes".
"Forensic" hab ich nix am Hut, aber sind die Metadaten beim restore hier hilfreich oder unnötig?

... nun ja, beim vorletzten #DistUpgrade hab ich mir den #Samba #ADDC selbst irgendwie zerhauen und die Reparatur war auch nicht unaufwändig. Allerdings war das an einem Wochenende.

.. Nun, jetzt wird eben auf ""Ihre vorherige Version von #Windows wird wiederhergestellt..." gewartet.
