Granted, our politicians could emigrate to Israel, but with an attitude like that, I think it would be more convenient on their part to make it the 51st state of the US. Someone in Congress should sponsor a satirical bill that "authorizes" an invasion.

If you, like me, are suddenly interested in how an invasion and takeover by the USA might work… there is 100 year old document in the National Archives that gives at least a basic idea. In the context of a USA war plan against "Red” (The British Empire). Canada is “Crimson”.
