banyak sekali masalah saat menyesuaikan proses instalasi dari Linux ke FreeBSD.

perlu banyak sekali benerin kode secara manual, ane yg ga paham php jadi pusing 3 keliling. Akhirnya harus nanya - nanya ke gemini dan perplexity untuk bisa benerin meski kadang ga bener juga mereka kasih cara karena selalu nyampur adukkan perintah di FreeBSD dengan Linux meski ane sudah state kalo ane pakai FreeBSD. Daripada stress, ane cuma aktifkan beberapa search engine saja yaitu duckduckgo, google, dan brave.

Sekarang sudah jalan dan akan dipakai untuk kepentingan pribadi saja, hemat bandwidth.

Pues bueno,ultimamente e estado con ganas de buscar otros metabuscadores libres y entre ellos encontre a 4get,que se supone que es 4get? pues como lo e dicho antes es un metabuscador libre (licenciado bajo AGPL3 segun su git)por lo que e estado probando pues se ve bastante bueno aunque en el about se nota que el creador de este metabuscador le tiene odio a searX asi que por eso creó 4get.

Según el about de la instancia oficial este es su objetivo:

Provide users with a privacy oriented, extremely lightweight, ad free, free as in freedom (and free beer!) way to search for documents around the internet, with minimal, optional javascript code. My long term goal would be to build my own index (that doesn't suck) and provide users with an unbiased search engine, with no political inclinations.

Basicamente es otro metabuscador mas que indexa los resultados de varios buscadores conocidos aunque aqui la diferencia significativa es que directamente solo indexa resultados de un solo buscador que es basicamente el que tu tengas por defecto en los ajustes de tu instancia o hayas selecionado al buscar(porque como dejo en la imagen se puede cambiar al toque por si ese buscador pone un ratelimit).

Por ahora lo usaré como buscador main aunque no tengo nada en contra de searXNG pero 4get se me hace interesante.....

4get a proxy search engine

For years I have used a certain SearXNG instance as proxy search engine with great pleasure. As a miracle it gave me good enough search results I needed all the time. But one moment in time it stopped working well or not at all and other SearXNG instances didn’t perform good enough for what I needed. Then I started to be happy with Mullvad’s Leta search engine. Till the day that Mullvad announce they could no longer keep up with the changes and had to shut it down. For a while I reverted to the noai of DuckDuckGo but I also found (via a Lemmy post) a search engine I never heard of : 4get.

So far my search results are pretty good and sometimes remarkably good. There’s one catch. When it shows Wikipedia pages in the search results it shows the web link as a sort of bread crumbs. If you are not aware of it you should just click on the very right of the link so you end up at the correct Wikipedia page.

Just like SearXNG you can change settings of 4get.
