Fragged clutch is out. Tilton ceramic-metallic 7.25” clutch is in. This rotating assembly about 10.3 lb lighter but the clutch is a similar diameter at 185 mm (?) versus 200 mm for a stock MR2 I think. #racecar #4AGE #toyota #MR2

It looks like I found a Toyota #4AGE #Formula Atlantic engine for my car. Oddball piston pin size- 19mm. Forged rods and pistons. In a late 7 rib block with deburring, extra oil drains and oversized valves with high lift cams. Needs going through.

So I have settled on a basic #3dprinting based design for #casting a water inlet for a #toyota #4AGE engine with plaster #InvestmentCasting by PLA burnout. I have been frustrated with PVA printing of support so I went old school and sliced the part. I took advantage of the parallel layers and with only minor concessions can generate very good internal geometry. Anticipating the final mass to be 325 grams.
