I've been wondering where all the actual reviews of Prusa with INDX are, since back in April they sold them briefly before switching back to "notify me when available".

Today I noticed the store page says: "Shipping starts in June. All orders from the initial batch will be completed by the end of August.". So I guess nobody has 'em yet.

I had assumed that the "initial batch" was actually boxed up in warehouses ready to sell when sales opened, but .. no, they weren't. Some folks who ordered back near the start of April won't be getting theirs until nearly 5 months later. Who knows when those of us who are waiting for good reviews before ordering will get the product.

Where in the world are the early reviews of the #Prusa3d #bondTech INDX toolchanger? I know to take such reviews with a tablespoon of salt, but I'm really surprised there aren't a raft of youtube videos out there from folks who got shipped early units by Prusa specifically so there would be video reviews out at the same time the thing went in the store.

Of course, since Saturday it also went back out of the store reportedly due to selling through an initial production run.

#prusa3d #CoreOneL experience so far:

Good things:
+ works out of the box and creates nice results
+ PrusaConnect is super handy, just pushing new prints to the queue
+ webcam live stream is nice with VPN

Neutral:
* does not play well with APC SmartUPS: The selftest of the APC UPS leads to a short power interruption after power on, which leads to a printer restart and "power supply out of spec" error

Things I did not expect at that price point:
- card board boxes with instructions are rotated, leading to upside down instructions from one layer to the next
- Pursa Connect Android App does not work for me, shows no printers (but the web version works)
- filtration unit holes to mount fan are not aligned, had to drill them bigger by 1mm
- included USB stick leads to freezes and crashes of the printer, random old 8GB stick one works flawless
- high flow nozzle clogged after approx 15hrs/1kg of included PLA

Would still buy again. Just my random thoughts after a few days of using it.
