From the 1990s to the 2020s, this city has gone from #MurderApolis to #MinneNoPolice.

I'm sitting in this 3rd precinct listening session (aka the precinct that burned after one of their officers killed a man) and of course the person from the city is the person that has had MULTIPLE reports of racial discrimination against her. I am not happy with this choice.

@rudepundit @chasemadar I live in South #Minneapolis which I have been repeatedly assured by right-wing pundits is a "no-go-zone" violent hellscape. As I walk four blocks from my public library to the world's oldest independent science fiction bookstore and over to Moon Palace books I keep a wary eye out, but all I see is the police precinct we leave standing in ruins as a reminder to police not to murder the people they're sworn to protect.
