Gregory LopezWoohoo! The hard part is done and the test posts have been removed from my microblog. I’ve still got some minor things to do, but it’s time to celebrate as my website here at Greg’s Place is basically ready for visitors now. Plenty of trial and error to get here, but the effort may prove worth it somewhere down the line. I’m nervous, a bit out of my comfort zone but I’m also just a bit excited too. Come with me on this journey, won’t you?
Greg LopezHeya, fediverse… Welcome to a little experiment I’m calling The Nerdy Blind Dude. I’ll be rather up front and admit that I’ve never created a blog before, so I have no clue what this might become in the future. The idea is to create a place where I can speak freely about whatever topic catches my interest at any given moment and get feedback from those reading what I’ve written. My expectations aren’t all that high if I’m being truthful, but I hope I can build a small community around my blog at a minimum.
Since this is merely the first post on what I’m calling an experimental blog for now, I’ll keep it short and sweet. I do ask one favor of those reading this… please leave me some feedback either via a webmention if you know what that is or by replying to this post via your fediverse client of choice. I’d really like to know if this little experiment of mine is functioning correctly since there are various underlying components that make it all work.
