Oscar's thoughts too large for a tweet

Newspaper technology has changed drastically during my lifetime as the pictures from the early 1950s in this blog post show. My dad worked at the newspaper in the Sault and he went from hot lead type (Linotype machines), to photo offset, to computerized typesetting over the course of 40 years.

When these pictures were taken, the paper was producing two editions a day without any computerized tech.
