Its a complex mystery of a show that would be rude for me to spoil, but if you're into 'things are not quite what they seem' style thrillers, decent cinematography, and diverse casts (watch it subtitled, not dubbed, for the full confusion effect), or enjoyed watching #Dark (same creators!) - this might be a good fit for you. But news dropped that, alas, S1 will be the last season...

I had issues with #1899Show but I am a little surprised Netflix has taken the decision to completely pull the plug, especially given the success the creative team had with Dark a few years ago.

Sie startete mit enormen Vorschusslorbeeren, wurde vor Release als Sensation abgefeiert. Nach VÖ gab es aber null Buzz und viele Zuschauer (unter anderem auch ich) waren angeödet. Die Show hatte schlicht nicht das, was "Dark" auszeichnete. Die Mystery war plump, das ganze Szenario nicht spannend genug. Ich war nach 4 Folgen raus.
Pino Carafa 🐾The cancellation of #1899show on #netflix is part of a vicious circle. People will not watch #season one of a show because they can't trust netflix to continue with season two. This in turn will lead netflix to conclude that the show isn't popular, and #cancel it.
I used #1899show instead of #1899 as the latter doesn't appear to convert to an actual #hashtag
