1. A neighbor put up a sign encouraging people to pick plums from his tree. I brought home a handful and they have just ripened. Sweet, free street plums!
2. Splash of color from my spouse filling our big pot out front with impatiens.

As a non-spoilery opinion on 1899 as a whole:
I liked it rather a lot, but feel frustrated that we're probably not going to get the rest of the story due to it being cancelled by Netflix.
I'd still recommend it, tho – with the caveat that you have to enjoy being dropped into the middle of a story and left to figure it out on your own.
I did get some of the calls right – I quite quickly hooked into the "not real" thing, and I did wonder about spaceships but then went off into wondering if it was fantasy-horror. Still could be I guess, coz I'm not convinced that 2099 is any more real than 1899! 😉
But I do still feel a bit at sea, and one thing is why the memories. The series did do a good job of getting me to care what happened to people I didn't think were real.

(We watched ep 7 last week, I just didn't write about it).
It's a real shame this has been cancelled, because it clearly is only part 1 of a larger narrative. So even tho there's the resolution of Maura waking up into a different reality and that loop being broken, there's now the larger question of what is going on in this new story.
Still annoyed about 1899 being cancelled.

Tho to be perfectly honest about the only thing I'm 100% sure of is that I've not gotten any of it figured out yet!
Lots of trauma in the past for everyone (in "universe" but not necessarily out where the old dude & the pyramid are).
And isn't it interesting that Maura thinks her mother lost her grip on reality and forgot people/things, and yet here she is not remembering someone who thinks she should.
