@lea TBH, I think it's a fundamental mistake that vendors use #RJ45/ #8p8c connectors for #RS232.

• They should've either used "#RJ50" / "#RJ48" / #10p10c or use #USB over #4p4c or #RS485 over a #2p2c connector instead just to make shure that people don't mistake that #serial port for a #Managment-#NIC.

• Unless it actually is an #Ethernet port.

@josephholsten Personally I think "RJ-50" / #10p10c should've become the standard, if not 9600/8/N/1 over 6p6c MMJ so one can plug a #VT320 directly into it!
