@lea TBH, I think it's a fundamental mistake that vendors use #RJ45/ #8p8c connectors for #RS232.
They should've either used "#RJ50" / "#RJ48" / #10p10c or use #USB over #4p4c or #RS485 over a #2p2c connector instead just to make shure that people don't mistake that #serial port for a #Managment-#NIC.
Unless it actually is an #Ethernet port.
