Seal bones, ribs, I suspect?
The stormy side of this island is lined with bones, a graveyard of sorts. There's a lot of fighting between larger Grey Seals & cute small Harbour Seals.
I always like at the mainland from islands (or boats), because you never see this stuff. You can't drive to see this.
We came from other direction, a few kilometers in a canoe It turned into 97 acre island, and an all-day hike.
There's #100WildIslands down the #EasternShore of #Halifax.
Some are bigger than this.
I don't have big boats;f but that would also restrict access. So we 'island hop', exploring each one we see along the coastline. This is Harrigan Cove, HRM, Nova Scotia #WAYCTV
We grow 'The Canada Goose' in Nova Scotia. We have fields of them at Harvest time.

The #EasternShore of #Halifax has #100WildIslands. We visit some of the inner ones (small boat) to explore them. Sometimes I plant & leave two fruit trees behind. Deer Apples or snacks for human visitors.
I brought a bigger piece of driftwood back for a display on my lawn. Besides picking up garbage, we return with many treasures from each day exploring.
#NovaScotia is the most amazing place to visit.
