Another frozen day on the #easternshore of #maryland
Went looking for snow geese today. It’s quite a sight to see. They arrive in the #Chesapeakebay region, in late November and return to their breeding grounds in the Arctic in early March, traveling through New England and Canada before reaching home. Due to their high numbers, they are actually considered overpopulated in some areas, causing damage to their Arctic breeding grounds.
