DEC 30 2023 (part 1 of 4)

This was the best of my four trips to the industrial areas of Fukuoka. I had dinner at a #Yoshinoya in the #Hakozaki #箱崎 area in the #HigashiWard #東区, then caught a bus to a transit center near #KaizukakotsuPark
#貝塚公園 and began my adventure there. I headed west into the Hakozaki Futou area, then south, crossing the Shioihama Bridge (not sure if that reading is correct) #汐井浜橋 to the Higashi-hama (東浜) area.

DEC 11 2023: the 2nd trip to the industrial areas at night, this time the #HigashiWard / #東区. I caught the bus to #IslandCity, had dinner, then began my walk around the perimeter of Minatokashi. It was raining pretty hard most of the evening. I then crossed a bridge to the Kashiihamafuto area. Here I got completely lost. Every time I thought I'd figured out my map, I'd end up going in circles. Finally, I made my way through a park and to a bus stop. (cont.)
