@juliamon egads yeah that's not an acceptable denial. The last time I had a visit that bad was at a dental college where, I swear, the dentist just wanted an excuse for a major operation.
I did go to a different dentist in the community with an infinitely better experience. I called the insurance line, told them I was unsatisfied with the visit and wanted a second opinion at a different practice. That was with decent insurance coverage and a small city with many dental practices though.

@Librus107 if you stop peeing, get confused, feel dizzy, or have sudden rapid heart beat that can indicate severe dehydration. It needs immediate medical support and sends lots of folks, especially kids and elderly, to the hospital every year.
