Virvatuli aka Mieps is now 7 monts old. Growing up, but still very kitten.
She loves Mielikki, lying on my chest and face, playing, running, climbing trees. Oh and food, all the food!
She hasn't yet gotten Mielikki to snuggle, but is working on it.
Her favourite games are catch the tissue ball and angangang, where she play-bites my hand and is very indignant if I play-bite her paw back.
Mielikki aka Ma-a-au had at least two owners before me. A neighbour had to 'quickly rehome her because of child's allergy', which sounded like cat scratch disease.
She's very sociable at home, but was quite high-strung and easily stressed out. Also, her fur smelled of tobacco smoke for the first couple of weeks.
I had her neutered (at 3!), taught her to meow instead of biting. She can sit and climb on my shoulder for a treat.
She loves nibbling grass.

I like #language. In general, in particular, in use. I like it when people take their time to think about what they want to say. When they make a mistake, notice, and correct themselves.
When people misunderstand each other and work out the intended meaning together, and so get to understand each other. Like it when people drop words that are not strictly necessary. When people make up new words. New puns and situational word play.
I like hearing a flurry of words around me
Should be asleep. Instead I ended up on Niccolò Machiavelli's Il Prinicipe, and as I recently saw somebody talking about recording in #languages they didn't speak well, here's my attempt at reading a language I haphazardly guess at with castellano, passive català and long-forgotten Latin, #Italian

Angespannt. Okay, #Meditation. Wie lang 10 Minuten doch sind. #Gedanken, Gedanken. Ziehen lassen. Gegen Ende schaff ich es, die Assoziationen und Erinnerungen bleiben zu lassen.
Und dann sehe ich es. Ein #Skelett mit Fernglas. In einer Umgebung in der Minzgrün und Lavendelfarben dominieren. Wenn es nicht gerade mit dem Fernglas rumkuckt, tanzt es mit seinen Knochen mystische Symbole nach.
