For years I've been procrastinating about challenging my entanglements & dependencies on #proprietary online services. I've always been rather cautious, but not as much as I should've been.
What #email services do I use? Where do I host my #photos & #videos? Where & how do I back up my #data? How can I stay in full control of my digital self?
The #Twitter sitatuon was like a catalyst for me to finally face this task.

#Cardinal could be described as #VCVrack in a box" - an #audio #plugin packed with #OpenSource modules that allows you to build modular patches, effects, #synthesizers and whatnot and have them conveniently packaged in a plug-in. Unless you explicitly load external plug-ins (via the Ildaeil module) the patches are completely self-contained and perfectly portable.
Lately I've been synthesizing car engine audio assets for a game with it.
