People, please start using CamelCase (aka PascalCase) to break apart words in #HashTags.

It makes it easier to read and more #accessible. Single words are OK to keep lowercase, unless they are proper nouns 😉
It makes it easier to review if you're a #MastoAdmin.

@jamesbritt also shared you can #Use_The_Underbar!

Please #boost this for visibility and to help improve the lives of many people.

@mastohost @nova and critically, I already reserved myself @zef
Considering moving over to Hachyderm so I can have a useful local and federated timeline. I was on mastodon.technology before, which shut down and there was no obvious place to go. Now I’m on a single user instance on @mastohost which works great, but is… lonely. Been listening to and following @nova and friends and I like what they’re building. 🤔
Some would say this is a silver bullet… https://www.theverge.com/23521586/productivity-apps-to-do-lists
All I want is one productivity app that can handle everything

There are thousands of productivity apps out there, but none can seemingly handle the majority of what people need. Instead, we end up with cluttered phones full of apps that only get half the job done.

Once upon a time I also tried bullet journaling. It ended more or less like what’s described here. Nice article: What keeping a bullet journal can teach you about using to-do list apps https://www.theverge.com/23520891/bullet-journal-lessons-to-do-list-apps
What keeping a bullet journal can teach you about using to-do list apps

Even if you prefer to use to-do list apps, attempting to put in the same amount of effort as a physical journal can have big benefits.

Step 0 - get a great idea

Step 1 - spend many hours finding the perfect domain

Step 2 - register domain

Step 3 - go to sleep

Step 4 - init new git repo and start committing code

Step 5 - over a few weeks, begin losing interest in the project

Step 6 - year passed. Domain expired

Step 7 - go to step # 0

the sad reality of open source software development

In short: folks love the amazing decentralised encrypted comms utopia of Matrix. But organisations also love that they can use it without having to pay anyone to develop or maintain it. This is completely unsustainable, and Element is now literally unable to fund the entirety of the Matrix Foundation on behalf of everyone else - and has had to lay off some of the folks working on the core team as a result.

Interesting post giving some sense of what Github Copilot is doing behind the scenes. https://thakkarparth007.github.io/copilot-explorer/posts/copilot-internals.html

Merry Christmas everyone! 🎄🎁

Here’s another 1000 TestFlight access slots for Ivory.

1. This is an early alpha. Many things are missing and consider everything a work in progress.
2. Send us feedback via the contact us button in the settings or [email protected]. Don’t use the TestFlight feedback system. We don’t read those often.
3. Enjoy using an alpha product! 😇

Trying to assemble some cheap do-it-yourself Chinese robots that Santa got for the kids, makes me remember why I went into software, not hardware. Hardware sucks. No offense.
