There are enough resources so that everyone can have shelter. Brian LeRoux 💚The reason I don't believe we have achieved or are close to achieving AGI is because there is no evidence we have AND, worse, *I want humanity to achieve AGI*. That bias makes me want to seek evidence for it. It's a massive red flag to be extra critical.
AGI could be a huge lift for our species. Think: undiscovered physics, new medical sciences, etc.
We want these things to happen which makes it *the perfect con*. 🚩
Be skeptical.
