Just wanted to mention I noticed a bit of oddity in the displayed text from my Markdown toot just now. Took a snapshot and sending in for reference.
What is odd on it?
the UL LI items, their text height is too large -- they display larger than the H2 heading in the opening of the toot.
I used bold in some places, which made it into hugely heavy font.
Ooops -- and this message will present some of the same issues, as I have the bulleted list here also. I think the post would display correctly in the Glitch Social web client, it does have the best MD rendering I have seen so far.
I just jumped over to the mastodon instance and took a snapshot - and it indeed is very pretty, correct type sizes, style.
I would love to install my own #Pinafore local instance here, tried with nativefier and NodeJS but I have an error with a missing icon and it won't load.

If I did, I could work on custom css, and propose fixes. If you have any suggestions for that, how to get a local instance of Pinafore, running in Windows 10, please send them.
I love the client and would like to contribute, to the best of my limited ability, at this time. I think the css customizing fits well with my current course with Coursera (intro to web development).

Using **83 MB** to have koyu.space loaded. * **Mastodon default web client**, opening a mastodon instance in a Bravo tab. Using **109 MB** for itself. For comparison purposes, other frequent programmes I use: * **Slowly app** for pen pals; running from their server, as a web client. Using **94 MB**. * And **Reddit**, via their modern design site, where I am regular user, taking **120 MB** for one single tab open. #Pinafore rules. #GlitchSocial is the best #mastodon, no doubts. #MarkDown, do you have it? Installing a PWA app locally - SUPER Easy
I had read a bit about this, and tried, to get a local copy of Pinafore fediverse client. With NodeJS and Nativefier, it works in some cases, but didn't for Pinafore in my case.
Tried again to find a solution and just discovered this page - and it worked, it's super simple, no NodeJS or black magic neeed. Really.
I am writing this via my Developer branch Pinafore client, installed from https://dev.pinafore.social/
(the regular, stable version is homed at https://pinafore.social/ )
How to do it ?
Read the article and get it installed - only caveat is you will need a Chrome family browser to do it (not the dreaded Google Chrome spyware). I suggest Bravo browser, which I recently started using and am quite impressed by. Or the new Chromium based version of Microsoft Edge, which is quite good too.
Seriously, it takes no effort at all.
