It is much harder to build something than to destroy it.
Life is fragile, as is society.
We should not take them for granted.

G20 share of deaths at Sept levels: 22.9%; despite 7% of population.
Close to half of all G8 deaths are U.S. (41%). Only about third of G8 population.

Update!
I have been advocating hard for the return of a mask mandate at my place of work.
Today I highlighted to the team that similar organizations are remasking now, hospitals are in crisis, and we work with folks with disabilities and intersectional risk factors. It is up to us to lead. I did this while wearing an N95 of course ✊️
Colleagues have identified themselves as allies. More are masking. It's the long game, but it's working! One meeting, and one coworker at a time.

90% followup rate of roughly 1000 contacts.
One contact developed symptoms, so the new case was a contact, so likely won't infect others!
For two and 1/2 pages are remarkable publicly available details: Team meetings, trainings, news that 9 districts cleared of contacts after 21 day followup. Alerts of suspected cases, and so on.
