A very warm November day for the #NYCMarathon

Day 5 of #AcWriMo : Finished first pass at editing a manuscript and sent off to co-author. Still owe text to another person on a funding proposal but tomorrow is another day. Did not expect to finish this much work anyway but having lunch outside with no expectations for the rest of the day seems to have done the trick today #sociology #sociodon #amwriting

I take care of two tree beds in front of my building and am a huge proponent of planting more trees on all streets in NYC. The costs of doing so are astronomical. It costs NYC Parks Department $3,600/new tree. Across the river in Jersey City, it costs $500. Day 4 of #AcWriMo : Cut 1,000 words from my manuscript. It’s funny how deleting words counts as writing as well. Looking forward to 70 degree weather and cheering on the marathoners on Sunday. #sociology #sociodon #amwriting
