I was looking over the NEVI planning for EV charging stations in NY. The current situation is pretty minimal for road trips in Upstate. The planned stations are an improvement, but still woefully inadequate I fear. New York will receive approximately $175 million through NEVI over five years. The NEVI program requires funds to be invested within one travel mile of designated EV corridors. New York State’s designated corridors include many of the State’s most-traveled interstate and state highways.
