which of these do you think is the least bad as a failsafe power source in a small minimal computing/"solarpunk" electronics project? (the project is entirely solar powered otherwise; I just need a backup power source for the real-time clock chip. i've ruled out rechargeable batteries and supercapacitors for this purpose)

Tokugawa Ieyasu was the final winner of Japan’s 136-year Sengoku era battle royale. His ascension to Shogun at the start of the 17th century marked the beginning of the Edo period: ~250 years of relative peace, stability and, a flowering of art and culture. He was laid to rest in a mausoleum in Kunōzan. This is not that tomb. Later Tokugawa descendants (falsely) claimed to have moved Ieyasu’s remains to this tomb at Nikkō Shrine, a more prestigious location.

I have had three or four accounts on mastodon/hometown instances since 2017(?) and I generally taper off using one and move to the next. 😂 and looks like I'm in the process of doing that again.

So if any server admin types are interested, it should be pretty easy* to run an instance of my RSS to ActivityPub converter as a nice bonus for your users. It lets people with a login on your Mastodon or Hometown server create ActivityPub accounts that are mirrors of RSS feeds (process pictured in attachments). ONLY people with a login to your server can use it, because you don't want to moderate this service for randos

I got an email from work that since I'll hit two years worth of vacation accruals in december, I have two options. 0- keep them accruing (we have no use or lose) or 1- they will exchange some of my vacation time for money. it also suggested that taking vacation is a good thing to do for work-life balance. 🙃🤦🏻‍♀️😆
