A company sent me a survey to ask what kinds of emails I wanted from them during the winter holiday season. I've never seen this and it's interesting to me. this was from Yolélé who sell fonio and other African products.
during the hurricane, water started pouring in over the top of this window (which was covered with a powered hurricane shutter). the blinds were removed and may be destroyed, but we also might have to rip all the drywall out of this room so In trying not to do anything grand. 🤷🏻‍♀️ if anyone needs to sleep in the spare bedroom, I guess having a 4' wide window with no covering right next to the bed might be creepy. so I ordered a vinyl window covering that you apply with water and a squeegee.

I had to reconstitute my cheap jelly gouache with a lot of water over a couple of days. it worked ok but the texture was definitely worse. I approach gouache like watercolor and not oil/acrylic. I used a paper towel, a toothpick, and my finger to create some different textures in the paint since the jelly gouache is pretty flat. I also used cheap paintbrushes instead of my good ones and I regret that.

overall just silly cards for some family who I hope enjoy the thought at least.

while I had limited internet I found some gouache card designs for halloween on gootube. I couldn't watch the videos but I did get the design from them to make quick cards for my niecphews.

pumpkin: not sure, I just looked at a bunch of designs and came up with something simple for a 1 year old.

this dog is so absurd I love it.
pikmin "it looks like rain!"
tfw your new keyboardio model 100 shows up but you're too busy with hurricane prep to do more than unbox it briefly. also the hurricane shutters are on so it's pitch black in my office 😂
here comes the watches

we're in the cone. the models are starting to come into consensus but it's still far enough out that the track will change.
