@superviviansunshine I learned non-linear editing with Kdenlive, I recommend that as a lightweight but powerful editing tool. I use Resolve nowadays because it's more suited for professional workflows and is actually used in Hollywood a lot for color grading. Resolve is just particularly difficult to install on some distros.

During thunderstorms, electric discharges in the air cause trees to glow with an ultraviolet aura. You can't see it with your eyes, but researchers have finally managed to measure it & recreate it in the lab.

@requiem I'm not in any position to hire a tech consultancy, but especially for open source projects I would require it so that the project doesn't get IP contaminated
@drandrewv2 The solar panel is a recent one. Clean electricity for lamps, helps for example with homework.
@btschumy @benlockwood The ΓΆresundslinjen ferry was previously diesel and is fully electric (with diesel safety backup). I think it can be scaled down. You are correct that it's an engineering challenge but it's definitely possible
@btschumy @benlockwood I don't know exactly how large machinery you're talking about but there are electric excavators. And really large machinery anyway uses electric motors with diesel generators, which can be replaced with batteries.
@notjustbikes As a Finnish person KungstrΓ€dsgΓ₯rden is the one that has stuck with me since I was a little child. I think a toddler.

Last boost: Age verification is never about child safety. It’s about restricting the free web, linking legal identities to everything you do, and harvesting data for profit.

Edit: typo

@joeress I use AI for coding, for debugging and for eg python script setup. I would not even consider contributing to an open source project with a single letter of code written with it.
it's always 'you should consider taking medication for your adhd' and never 'thank you for doing the first half of all these projects'
