Memory dump. It was February 1999, and I was shuffling back and forth between a dressing room and backstage, making sure all of my actors made it to their entrances because everyone was glued to the TV watching the super bowl and waiting for one actor's commercial to pop up. As frustrating as that day was, it was one of the best days.
Are there any other burnt out folks on here (other writers)? I know you're out there, looking in, wondering if 'it' is going to come back.
Happy New Year, Everyone. I hope to hear about the next check mark on one of your 2023 goals.
Has anyone else seen The Fableman's? I found it a subtle but beautiful love letter to filmmaking and art/artists in general.
That feeling when a website is birthed for the first time on the server, ready to be viewed for the first time. *sigh*.
Still a ways to go (notes) but I'm proud of it (we're proud of it). I will share later when it's official.
You could hand me a plate stacked with saltine crackers and I'd say thank you, but it takes me 20 years to find the perfect winter coat. I'm so picky about these things. And I found it!!! Viking funeral at dawn for my current one. (Just kidding, my old beloved busted one is now the back up).
If anyone lives in or near Chicago, and you love
#lego, I highly recommend the group NILTC for like minded brick loving peeps. They do large cityscapes at libraries and conventions too.

I just scrolled through the local timeline, and I only saw one post with image descriptions. I also saw several people have names written in fancy fonts that screen readers cannot read. There was a lot of this on Twitter, and I really hope this isn't a trend that is gaining more traction here as well. There are a lot of blind people on Mastodon, and we can't make sense of fancy fonts or know what's in your photos without image descriptions.
What kind of schedule does a person need to keep to wake up ram rod straight and wonder what day it is. My schedule. Thank you phone for letting me know it was Saturday. Phew!
It's another Friday night I'd rather be writing but that "tool builder" quip on my bio means I'm working towards something HUGE for artists. Your welfare is more important to me than my own writing (right now).
