👏 Big thanks the World Biodiversity Forum for a wonderful time in Davos. It was great to give a talk on monitoring climate & plants 🌱🌾 across montane temperate-boreal forest ecotones 🌳 🌲 in eastern US & to enjoy many excellent presentations & discussions. Looking forward to WBF 2026!

This morning at the @worldbioforum 2024 in #Davos --> small excursion day with a team of #SoilBiodiversity researchers @EisenhauerLab, #AlpSoil_Lab, #ScheuLab)

We climbed up the Büelenhorn (2512m) and Büelenberg, a quite lonely mountain ridge above Davos.
A lot of nice biodiversity to see in the #alpine zone! (and sahara sand)
