I traveled this weekend, and brought three-part kit. Zebra Sarasa R 0.5mm blue black in a bolt-action titanium barrel, Pilot brush pen for headings (also blue black), and the Pentel P209. No fountain pen this time, but I didn’t really have the time for longer writing anyway. They weren’t missed.

Ink is a fun part of the fountain pen hobby. Once you get to beyond a handful of bottles, it's fun to have something to help you see all your inks on paper. I happen to be one of those with more than a handful of ink bottles, so I decided to make a swatch book.

#fountainpen day. The Pilot Custom Heritage 912 with an FA nib. First impressions are a bit mixed. I struggle with some hard starts every now and then. Fun nib though. Might test some different inks, or try to tune the nib a little. I know there's an aftermarket feed you can get, but shipping is an arm and a leg 🙈
Started a new job on Monday, so notes a plenty this week. Can’t beat a retractable for quick jottings. Also, who’s ready for Pelikan Hub? 🥳
