While #Wikipedia contains millions of articles and #WikimediaCommons have tons of photographs and other media, #Wikidata contains a structured data that describe the world around us.

Our member Eugene finished improving the data for the barangays of the municipality of Minalabac in Camarines Sur, #Philippines ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ, in Wikidata and also mapped them in #OpenStreetMap, linking the two datasets with each other, thereby expanding the network of linked #OpenData.

Thereโ€™s an interesting development about this map that I uploaded to #WikimediaCommons in 2024. Former Associate Justice Antonio Carpio bought the original paper map and recently gifted it to the National Library of the Philippines.
