WikiProject participants often ask: โ€œHow do I find what needs fixing?โ€

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Many maintenance issues are already in the data, but turning them into useful clean-up lists still requires the right tools and queries.

This Saturday, Raisha will share how WikiProjects find, prioritise, and execute maintenance work, plus lessons from developing Broomstick and a discussion on tools communities actually need.

When editors from across the motu gathered in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington last month for WikiCon 2026, a pair of local editors took the opportunity to launch a Wellington task force ๐Ÿ’ป๐Ÿ“

The task force's aim is to improve English Wikipedia coverage of topics related to our capital city, such as geography, history, nature, arts, GLAM institutions, and visitor attractions. With new campaigns starting every few months, there's lots to be done! https://w.wiki/QmET

This year, the campaign (running Juneโ€“August) is gearing up for its biggest year yet.
