@jynersolives Doctor Who has been going on so long that the newer seasons are essentially fanfiction of what came out during the writers' childhoods, and that's not a bad thing. Crazy stuff is to be expected in this show because that's what separates it from other, more serious Sci-fi shows. It can have a lot of serious moments, but if it gets too serious it would lose what makes it Doctor Who.

Sequels having less features than the previous game without being a complete enough experience that you could ignore it.
