Sure seems like a great time to pick up Calcbot Pro by @tapbots:

So I think Twitter is over (at least for me). It looks like Tweetbot is down, or that someone pulled the plug that lets it authenticate with Twitter.

I only ever use the iOS clients to avoid all the timeline and feature changes and I doubt I’ll start using the web client at this point.

I just learned that in JavaScript `fetch` requests you can use the HEAD method to figure out if a file can be downloaded before actually downloading the actual file.

It’s just like using GET, but you only get header information: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTTP/Methods/HEAD

HEAD - HTTP | MDN

The HTTP HEAD method requests the headers that would be returned if the HEAD request's URL was instead requested with the HTTP GET method. For example, if a URL might produce a large download, a HEAD request could read its Content-Length header to check the filesize without actually downloading the file.

About a year ago I bought a bunch of mics and set them up around my drum set. My goal was to set it up like a studio environment where I could feed the mics along with music from an iPad in via a mixer so I could play along.

With my Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones I just couldn’t dial in the mix right. Too much sound was coming in through the headphones.

I recently picked up a pair of closed back Beyerdynamics and it’s a world of difference! This setup is exactly what I was going for.

My kids got a Darth Vader cast iron pan for Christmas and it turned out some of the best pancakes I’ve ever had. Seriously.

This is my first time cooking with cast iron and now I think I’m hooked.

All is right in the world in the @ivory alpha. It’s super solid so far and such an improved experience. Thank you @tapbots
It’s been a while since I’ve coded up something where the only opinions that matter are my own (and in this case my kids). So bringing on all the silly things I wouldn’t do on a client site. 🎊
I dove into #nuxt 3, #prisma, and #tailwindcss UI to create a self-hosted banking app for my kids.
Working with all 3 of these tools was awesome and I learned a lot in the process. Here are some of my takeaways from this project: https://wbrowar.com/article/code/kids-money

I brought home a second #volkswagen #id4 today. This one’s in blue!
Apple Music’s not wrong… but it would be nice if I could make it so the songs my kid like on repeat don’t count towards my yearly totals.
