Why Chatbots Are Not the Future of Interfaces

A wonderful article by @wattenberger about her work exploring the limitations of chatbot interfaces, and the potential for new ways to interact with LLMs.

I nominate the logo as the next-gen Clippy

some weekend progress on my AI writing buddy tool

✨ controls describing the piece to help guide suggestions
✨ filterable suggestion types
✨ a more expansive-feeling style
✨ and most excitingly! I made a cute lil logo for a new ChatGPT-suggested app name

after extracting the icon paths, I replaced the green colors with CSS variables, which are populated with one of four sets of colors
I spent some time collecting adorable icons from http://svgrepo.com, then recoloring them in Figma with a set of 5 greys and 3 greens.

SVG Repo

another day, another ✨ extra ✨ feature for my WIP article

I wanted example cards with icons that:
- were one of a small number of colors and shapes
- looked like things you would find outside a window

I'm also really digging these "related concepts" - something I've always wanted while writing.
sometimes we need praise, too!
