An english message will follow :

The weekend rumors have since been confirmed: the ThrashCan (TraXide) is no more.
This venue, which aimed to be a space for marginalized people, has been permanently shut down by the Montreal Police Service.
Our hearts go out to those who managed to bring this iconic underground spot back to life, even if only for a few months.
See you at other events!
And thank you to everyone who continues to keep this scene alive, no matter where or how.

Fundraising concert in solidarity with land defenders

Fundraising concert in solidarity with land defenders (km 134) with UZU, 狗日的, TENAZ & HURTA At: B7, Tiohtià:ke (Montreal) Doors: 8PM Concert: 9PM Additional infos: All funds will be donated to the km 134 blockade Thanks for your support, generosity & solidarity! Camp Souveraineté, at km 134 on the Parent Road, is located on the unceded ancestral territory belonging to hereditary chiefs Robert Echaquan and Jean-Paul Echaquan. The site is a space for monitoring and protecting protected areas and for defending ancestral rights, which necessarily requires consultation with hereditary chiefs before any form of resource extraction. In addition to maintaining continuous monitoring against illegal logging, the land defenders are building facilities to welcome Atikamekw people living in nearby towns who wish to reconnect with their roots. Some have left their communities to work in municipalities and now have limited access to ancestral Nehirowisiw Aski knowledge. This place of transmission is open to all who wish to reconnect with their language and identity.
