René Binamé est un groupe belge fondé en 1988, qui fait dans la chansonnette anarcho-punk aux textes incisifs, parfois teintée de sonorités électro et à tendance free-punk. Chacun des membres apporte ses cultures musicales. L'horizon est large : le terreau de la chanson française, les broussailles du punk, le graillon du hard rock, les bits de l'électro, les friches de la musique expérimentale... Délibérément sensible à ce qui l’entoure, René Binamé laisse ses chansons engagées se transmuter selon l'humeur, selon l’ambiance, en promenades noise-poétiques, en transes collectives, en berceuses hypnotiques ou... en chansons engagées, tendres et incendiaires. René Binamé se veut libre de tout courant musical et s'attache plus que jamais à boiter plutôt qu'à marcher droit
