My perhaps unpopular opinion is that computers are now powerful enough. We should stop striving for more power and instead make them more efficient, cooler, and smaller for the same compute power.

Whatever tiny gains in power we’re eking out just don’t feel worth it anymore.

Announcing: badges.fediverse.games!

We are now running an instance of the wonderful badgefed from @vocalcat! Badgefed is a federated credential issuing platform. We'll be using this to recognise contributions (financial, material or intellectual) to both our platforms as well as the Fediverse as a whole, with a focus on contributions to gaming community here across the Fediverse.

The software is still in fairly early development, so you can consider this service to more or less be pre-alpha. There may be breaking changes, and I'll be doing my best to help the project along the way with my (decidedly amateur) skills.
