Das ist ein typisch deutsches Problem.

Mastodon ist nur 1 Angebot im Fediverse.
#Peertube für Video
#Castopod für Podcasts

In anderen Ländern ist die ganze Gesellschaft drin und nicht nur die links grüne Bubble.

Könnten die eine Challenge draus machen und sich verteilen und dann austauschen, was am besten ist.

Die haben doch sicher unterschiedliche Interessen von Musik hören, Bilderstories folgen, Streaming,...

Multiaccountapps wie #Fedilab helfen da.

PS: wer auf BlueSky oder Threads ist, kann ins fedi Wechsel und der bridge folgen, wenn möglich immer fediverse first. Wäre ethisch besser ohne direkt auf Inhalte zu verzichten.

Und von X gibt es noch Bots, wer sich das unbedingt antun will.

@q Un serveur Castopod ferait l'affaire (descriptif + flux RSS), modulo la possibilité de télécharger le fichier audio directement. J'en fais tourner un chez Liberta depsui pas mal detemps, mais tu dois avoir pas mal de giga à héberger (une bonne vingtaine à vue de nez).

@damon @fediversereport I am very much in favor of calling this whole thing the #Fediverse and I think indeed for example #Peertube and #Pixelfed and #Castopod should also be named.

In my opinion Bluesky is not part of the Fediverse and cannot even be considered federated as long as there is only one centrally managed instance.

And as long as that does not change I am not interested in joining it or even reading about it more than once a quarter.
