Can you block entire servers? Might be a rookie question, but if, say, the Proud Boys decide to start their own #Mastodon server, then how do you deal with that?
#WakandaForever is up there with #NoWayHome when it comes to the best #Marvel movie after Endgame. Ryan Coogler is a special filmmaker
Hello #MastIndia I'm a inter-disciplinary researcher, technologist with focus on digitization in India. I mostly post about #maps #cities #archives #policy #RTI #foss #cybersecurity.

News outlets can encourage journalists to move to Mastodon for now. (They could create their own instances for staff, too.)

Long-term, they can avoid posting content on a site owned by a rich guy who openly loathes journalism.

It just occurred to me that across the 4,000 #Mastodon servers each with their #MastoAdmin plus their moderator teams... we have more content moderators tracking reports and complaints than Twitter does. For the folks who keep asking about how we're going to scale, we're on it. #CommunityNotContent

New from me: Twitter has spent much of Wednesday battling a wave of blue-check verified impostor accounts posing as Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani, LeBron James and even Nintendo — just hours after Twitter launched its paid verification feature https://www.cnn.com/2022/11/09/tech/twitter-impersonators-paid-verification/index.html
I just heard that people are now calling Twitter $8chan and I'm ded, so ded, forever ded, and 100% doing this from now on.
