Freedom brought to you by good men willing to use violence against the "authorized" government with treason resulting in the termination of approximately 25k government employees with weapons the then government wanted to outlaw in part because of a tax on stamps, tea, etc with out representation of the people to reject that tax via a vote.
Sometimes the right thing to do is the hard thing to do and it is not always lawful according to the government.

Is Mastodon just a cesspool of the far left misfits that got laughed off of all the other platforms by the sensible people or what? Seriously it just seems like there's nothing but a bunch of anti gun, republican loathing, LGBTQ screaming, baby murderers here.
I wish people could understand that you're throwing away your vote whether you choose Democrat or Republican because they're both the same. We'll end up at the same undesirable outcome but we want to fight each other over which one will get us there slower. The only real way to actually fix anything is to try voting for something different. Libertarian, Constitution, Green. There are other options! Stop doing the same thing over and over again hoping for different results.
