musing how it's an unexpected luxury to have stuff at the back of the fridge
my shelf of the fridge, for example, has 2 eggs, 2 apples and a lunch
Some people have asked exactly what is required to run this site. The basics are:
Moderation tasks:
- Regularly check the fediblock hashtag to figure out which instances we should defederate from. Ideally daily
- Respond to user reports. This is fairly rare because we vet any new users and defederate from suspicious or known problematic instances
- Accept or decline user signups when open (actually I think our instance is big enough already and signups should remain closed)
the past few years I've been browsing mince pies from various retailers
this year I basically forgot about uh the passage of time
I might make do with the supermarket leftovers tho
thinking about cheese, tray bakes and re-inking some fountain pens tomorrow and Sunday :)
