Luckily I had been invited to yesterday's launch of @waldorfmusic 's latest gem, the handbag sized #Protein #synthesizer. Small but very capable classical Waldorf wavetable synth with the musically glitchy sound of the original Microwave 1, if you like. But adding to the archetype, it comes with a modulation matrix and a lot more. And it looks great and is really cheap.
Kateryna Zavoloka from #Ukraine gave a overwhelming demonstration, after the introduction by Waldorf CEO Rolf Wöhrmann. Whoa!
I just found a simple explanation why people organize and resist so much in #France compared to #Belgium, why #Ireland was never really conquered and why #Germany lost two world wars.
And that he like myself used a Zoom 9002 portable guitar FX unit and this ultracheap Botex Light controller (still available under different brands) that I bought for my son for 5€ a couple of weeks ago.

Sad that the auctionator is stupid and separated some stuff belonging together like his #Roland MKS-80 and the MPG-80 controller or the #Neumann U47 mic and the dedicated cable.
I liked seeing the obscure 1960ies stuff like chairs, lamps and stands and enjoyed realizing that some of the stuff is part of my studio, too, like Korg MS-20, Yamaha TX81Z or Korg KPR-77. But I have a nicer Hameg oscilloscope.

🧵 I just went through the auction catalogue of Florian Schneider's estate. If you are interested in #Kraftwerk and #KlingKlang studio memorabilia, this is the place to go.
A lot of instruments from flutes to oboes, saxophones to #synthesizer s, his passport, suits and shoes, his VW van. Interested in electronics, I find it remarkable that even he did own some Behringer stuff (X32 Mixer + Headphone Amp), like it or not.
