I liked #gquuuuuux for what it is. It's the opposite of The Origin, in which the parts with Char are really fascinating. The twists in the later half of the series were engaging, but I feel they didn't land a good ending for the protagonists.
If you're coming from IBO or GWitch, you'd be either disappointed or confused. A lot assumes existing knowledge of UC and nobody explains anything of the setting. It's very much made for the hardcore UC fanboys and panders hard to nostalgia.

A ca. 5,000 year-old wooden disc wheel from Olzreute-Enzisholz. The site is part of the UNESCO World Heritage "Prehistoric Pile Dwellings around the Alps." The waterlogged, anaerobic environment provided ideal conditions for the preservation of organic materials such as wood. Three disc wheels have been found at Olzreute-Enzisholz, dating around 2,900 BC.
