@mjr @Edent TBF, I don’t see what most people actually get from the cookie world. Ad revenues are near nothing unless you’re very popular. We used a bit of Plausible code to measure basic stuff, and frankly it was more than enough analytics.

And the kicker? Our (modest) social media spend had zero impact. But our (again, modest) traditional marketing, including print, was very effective.

Maybe it was different before, but it’s all enshittified to the extreme now.

@cstross it is, as it also affects CloudNews (OSS reader for Nextcloud News). That app certainly has less dev time than Mail. But I use it less, as well.

iOS 26 is not great for me. There should really be a way to downgrade.
