My mom was listening to a political podcast in Cantonese and it's hilarious to me that they just refer to MAGA as 愚蠢人 (stupid people）as a matter of course. They don't beat around the bush... they just call it as it is.

Ex-farm worker here.

We need to talk about this whole "But a living wage for farm workers would spike the cost of food!" thing.

Not true AT ALL.

Y'all don't understand how fast experienced farm workers are.

The average tomato picker pulls 650lbs per hour.

At $20/hr, that's $0.03/lb for labor.

We have now seen three interstellar objects passing through the solar system--and each of them is distinctly different.

@gunstick The Big Blue Boy Scout has always pulled his punches with the humans.

One of the DC animateds (which are excellent, unlike the live action movies!) explores this where he’s happy he can just go whole hog on Darkseid. “I live in a world made of cardboard” I think is the line.
